Clarke Willmott supports AvMA at its 30th Anniversary Charity Ball
AvMA’s 30th Anniversary Charity Ball
Guests and members of the Clarke Willmott personal injury and medical negligence teams will be attending the AvMA 30th Anniversary Charity Ball at the Marriott Royal Hotel, College Green, Bristol on 28 September.
Kerry Fifield, Head of Clinical Negligence and an accredited member of AvMA (Action against Medical Accidents) since 2007, is delighted to support the charity to help raise funds: “Clarke Willmott has long supported AvMA, a charity set up 30 years ago by Peter Ransley to support people affected by medical accidents. Through its good work over the years, AvMA has brought about changes in the way the legal system deals with clinical negligence and continues to campaign for improved patient safety.”
AvMA receives little in the way of statutory funding and relies on charitable donations and fundraising events such as the Charity Ball.
