International banking trust company

Roger Seaton has acted for an international banking trust company in the Channel Islands and a leading holdings group on a number of multi-million pound hotel acquisitions and refinancing deals.

In particular the sale and leaseback of a portfolio of 4 London hotels was priced in excess of £100 Million pounds.

We are already acting for a major banking group on property finance matters, Hugh has now been appointed onto another international banking panel. These appointments have already enabled us to act on a number of complex development finance and refinancing transactions, securing multi-million pound loan facilities.

In another case we dealt with the facility letter, bank guarantee bond and a complete security package for the bank; the development was subsequently acquired by a local developer as a mixed scheme. The deal was complex because it included deferred consideration provisions which resulted in complex priorities issues.

We perfected legal charges on a large portfolio of care homes and staff residences, and advised on priority issues with existing lender pending full refinancing.
