pensions and savings disputesPensions and savings are crucial to the welfare and happiness of millions. Professional money managers and financial advisers entrusted with other people’s savings have legal duties and clearly mapped standards of competence. Sadly, these are not sufficiently observed. Where significant losses have occurred we can often help. Our unique understanding of the industry enables us to identify whether there is a liability and what can be done about it. We have financial services qualifications and experience. Our work for the private client typically embraces the misselling of pensions and other investment products, failure to account for money, non compliance with investment mandates, disputes with life assurance companies, stockbrokers, financial advisers, trustees and pension providers. We conduct cases before the courts, the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Pensions Ombudsman. Our approach is to get to know our clients’ circumstances thoroughly, and thereby to understand the context of their dealings with the other parties. Each individual client is important to us. Whilst maintaining objectivity, we aim to work as a team with our clients to obtain the best result the legal process can provide. We provide value for money. We also acknowledge that the private client is very conscious of the cost of lawyers. We are often prepared to act wholly or partially on a no win no fee basis, depending on what we advise are the prospects. Contact: Robert Morfee. |
