Ensuring that the value of commercial rights is maximised, is a core part of the work we do. All fee earners have a detailed practical understanding of sport and work with clients at all levels within the sector in providing pragmatic, effective advice and thought leadership in rights exploitation.
Our team has two distinctive parts. The first works within sponsorship and brand management in relation to events, stadia, clubs, individuals and governing bodies. Our work extends to advice on marketing, advertising, broadcasting, gaming and media to ensure a holistic 360 degree view is given. We also regularly assist by recommending agencies and negotiating the terms of their appointment to the financial benefit of our clients.
Our second concentrates on advising on and drafting the commercial agreements that underpin operations. Catering, ticketing, premium seat licences, debentures, e-commerce, merchandising, licensing, security, supply and distribution agreements are core to the matters they advise on daily.
Our unique fixed fee audit enables contracts to be reviewed, rights to be identified and the most appropriate structure for realising value to be confirmed. We then work closely with clients in putting in place detailed agreements to enable them to drive their business forward.
