We are shortly to be involved in their latest wind farm project in Scotland. We are instructed by a specialist cabling company in relation to their tender for both offshore and inter array electricity cabling work in respect of an offshore wind. This windfarm will be the second biggest in the world and will start producing electricity in 2012.

UK Renderers Association and PDM group - advice and Court proceedings regarding combustion of tallow as a green fuel - Major appeal against conditions imposed by the Environment Agency by virtue of the Waste Incineration Directive.

Recently involved in a £34m project involving the financing of the construction and sale of 3 waste to energy plants - involved Senior Bank Debt (up to £27m), Subordinated Shareholder Loans and Shareholder Equity.

Acting for Eco2 Limited on the construction of their first wind farm in Scotland. Dealing with the construction aspects of wind farms at Llangwyryfon and Cemmaes.

Bluestone Holiday Village and attractions, Pembrokeshire - successfully promoting Bluestone through Court of Appeal, including its biomass energy centre. Bluestone is a 500 acre development that opened in July 2008 as an exemplar of sustainable development.

Good Energies (UK) LLP - acting in relation to a framework agreement for the purchase of wind turbines from GE for installation in Romania or Poland.

Subsequently dealing with the construction aspects of the sale of wind turbines to a Czech utility company, CEZ, to enable them to build a 600 MW wind farm in Romania.

Acting for private landowners in relation to the negotiation of wind farm options and solar photovoltaic options over their land.

Acting for the Crown Estate in relation to the negotiation and grant of an option for a biomass plant in Thetford, Norfolk.

Acting in connection with the planning issues arising from a re-powering application together with the property aspects for a wind farm at Delabole, Cornwall.

Acting for a renewable energy supplier in connection with a contract with a major blue chip company. The arrangements between the two companies related to the implementation of the new feed-in tariff for substantial numbers of photovoltaic panels on private homes.

Acting for Devon County Council in connection with a complex section 106/278 Agreement for highway works associated with a planning appeal made by Airtricity. The appeal related to the proposed siting of wind turbines and special arrangements for the transportation and delivery of turbines to what is a very rural site. Acted for a PLUS market listed renewable energy supplier in relation to a shareholder fundraising on PLUS, part of which was used to fund development of the company's wind farm assets.

Dealing with commercial contracts in respect of the installation of trial equipment at supermarkets which harvests kinetic energy from high traffic volume areas.

Acting for a German biogas company in respect of its roll out programme in the UK.

Acting for both developers and landowners in respect of numerous solar photovoltaic projects, to include the negotiation of heads of terms, exclusivity agreements, options, contracts, leases and construction.

Cranbrook New Community, Exeter - acting for a consortium in relation to the Cranbrook scheme, a proposed new town just outside Exeter. The first phase includes around 2,900 houses together with a Town Centre, Neighbourhood Centre, new schools, retail and leisure developments.  We have been involved in the negotiation of a heat supply agreement with a major utility company to design, install, operate and maintain a local energy centre featuring a combined heat and power plant to serve the development and neighbouring commercial developments.
