Care Homes

There are wide variations in both the nature and standard of services provided by care homes to their residents.

Often mental health needs are not recognised or supported.

Frequently areas such as speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, chiropody and podiatry are forgotten or provided only at the individual's expense.

While one may not be entitled to NHS Continuing Care, the NHS may well be responsible for providing these services wherever you are: whether at home or in a care home.
