Housing Management Seminar

We are hosting a free specialist Housing Management update on Wednesday 22 May at our Southampton office.

There have been a number of important developments in recent months not least the Government's Welfare Reform proposals, which will impact directly on Housing Management. Recent Court of Appeal case law which will also have a major impact on the conduct of your possession proceedings in the county court. In addition, the Government's proposals to tackle anti-social behaviour; new legislation aimed at criminalising the subletting of social housing and new civil procedures and legal aid rules will result in a changed Housing Management landscape in 2013.

An overview of developments in Housing Management in 2013 will be delivered by expert speaker Jonathan Hulley, Head of our Housing and Asset Management team. Simon Strelitz, the team's in-house barrister  will provide a case law update and Amy Gibbs will provide a Welfare Reform update.

This seminar is designed for Housing Professionals and In-House Solicitors employed by local authorities and Housing Associations, which will be accredited with 3.5 CPD hours under our Solicitors Regulation Authority accreditation (reference: DNW/CLW1).
