"an unashamedly client-facing law firm"

If someone loses capacity to make decisions for themselves, whether through injury or illness, then an application may need to be made to the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) to appoint a Deputy who may act on that person’s behalf.

Such applications often need to be made as a matter or urgency, where funds are required in order to meet medical and care needs.

Partners of Clarke Willmott are sometimes appointed as Deputies where family and friends feel they need professional support.

As well as making the necessary applications, we are able to assist with submitting the relevant accounts to the OPG in-line with their reporting requirements.
