Islamic Wills and Ethical Wealth Preservation
It is the obligation of every Muslim owning property to allow no more than two nights to pass without having a Will in place. Just as any person can make a Will directing how his estate is to pass, a Muslim testator can direct that his estate is to pass in accordance with the requirements of his faith.
Here at Clarke Willmott we understand and respect the principles behind preparing an Islamic Will, and ensure it is compliant with Sharia principles and the governing law of England and Wales.
Clarke Willmott is one of the first large commercial law firms to offer to their Muslim clients a complete and bespoke Sharia-compliant solution to meet with all of their testamentary requirements.
We use our nationally recognised expertise to prepare for you a regiment of Wills and Trusts that accord with the requirements of the Sharia of Islam, as well as provide you with access to appropriate advice relating to halal investments and ethical wealth preservation. We are further qualified to assist you with particular points in the administration of estates of the Muslim deceased.
As part of our commitment to the Muslim community, we are pleased to advise that we will be donating 10% of our fee from your instruction to prepare an Islamic will, to a Mosque or charity of your choice. Please let us know where you would like the donation to go at our initial meeting.
