As well as having its own complex laws relating to employment agriculture is also subject to all of the employment related regulations which emanate from Europe. These can have a profound effect on a client's businesses at key times of the production cycle. We adopt an integrated approach with our property colleagues to ensure that the housing issues of agricultural workers are adequately dealt with when employing employees or terminating their employment.

With the pressure of increased regulation and the rising costs to businesses in employing staff we provide proactive commercial advice on avoiding disputes to pragmatic solutions for our clients' businesses to allow them to move forward. If no compromised solution can be achieved we represent clients in the Employment Tribunal, Employment Appeal Tribunal and higher courts if required.
