Learning & Development
We are committed to developing and investing in our people. As well as offering legal training, we encourage people to develop their personal, management, IT and business development skills. We will pay for relevant courses, and if you wish to pursue external qualifications we can offer financial and study leave support.
We have a development programme in place for our senior associates, known in-house as "Fame Academy". This programme provides our lawyers with the necessary skills they need to succeed, such as business development, financial management and leadership skills.
In addition, all of our people are appraised annually and meet with their managers at the six-month mid-point to ensure that development objectives and learning tools are in place to help and support them throughout their career.
We are committed to ensuring and promoting equality of opportunity for all. We are interested in the skills and experience you have which will make a difference to our clients. We would like to hear from you regardless of gender, age, race, colour, ethnic or national origin, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, religion or belief.
We are committed to developing an organisational culture which values people from all sections of society and the contribution which each individual can make. In all our offices we wish to see a workforce which reflects the local population and the communities within which we work. We are committed to ensuring that the recruitment, retention and career development of people is on merit, on the basis of justifiable job requirements and equality of opportunity for all applicants and employees.
In addition to our competitive salaries, our great open-plan working environment and high quality work, we reward our lawyers and business support professionals with a comprehensive range of benefits.
The exact benefits you would receive depend on your position, but they might include the following:
Social & Sports
We are extremely active with regard to sports and social. We have a social committee based in each office that organise events on a monthly basis. These include quiz nights, summer barbecues, Christmas parties and the traditional First Friday of Fun where the partners invite everyone to join them for drinks and the opportunity to socialise with colleagues.
