Cheltenham Virtual Race Day

The Bristol Office hosted its first Cheltenham Virtual Race Day Event on Thursday 17 March 2011, to coincide with the St Patrick's Day.  Partners, employees and clients alike were treated to a 3 course lunch followed by drinks and an afternoon of televised racing.

The Client Services and Development team and the Changing Worlds team coordinated the placing of bets with a local bookmakers with a proportion of the winnings being kindly donated to charity.

A sweepstake was organised for the Gold Cup with horses drawn at random.  Half the prize pool was donated to the Prince’s Trust with the other half being divided between those who had backed the winner, Long Run. 

Thanks to the help and support of the Client Services and Development team, the Race Day, sweepstake and an extremely generous donation by one lucky gambler, over £1,000 was raised for the Prince’s Trust.
